Oakmere are delighted to offer this beautiful 1957 Triumph TR3 for sale from our Cheshire showroom.
Produced between 1955 and 1962 by the Standard-Triumph Motor Company of Coventry, the TR3 was an evolution of the earlier TR2 but with improved breaking and greater power.
RZ9214 retains its original registration number and was built on the 14th September 1957 and delivered to the dealer, Clarence Engineering Company of Belfast.
Registered to its first owner, a Mr Robert J Eakin of Co. Derry on the 30th September of the same year, the car then went through a small number of owners before being laid up in a barn in its homeland of Ireland prior to its discovery in 2012.
Originally finished in British Racing Green with contrasting brown upholstery, RZ9214 went through a thorough restoration between 2013 and 2016 in the hands of its new owner including a full chassis and body restoration to a fantastic standard.
