Oakmere Motor Group will be attending a number of motoring events with our various brands over the next few months.
CarFest North
The first stop comes at CarFest North. CarFest was founded by prominent radio and TV presenter, Chris Evans, in 2012 and has grown exponentially ever since. Thanks to separating the event into CarFest North and CarFest South, the event is much more accessible to everyone.
Though the event is primarily a car show, there’s always a range of attractions to keep everyone entertained. Past events have had alternative activities such as Scalextric tracks, live music and family fun. The event raises funds for Children in Need and has raised several million pounds so far - making it a huge success.
The Bolesworth Estate in Cheshire plays host to CarFest North for the second year in a row, with the event taking place between the 28th-30th July. This year’s track theme is ‘CAR-NATIONS’ while the wonderful Sporting Bears are back - giving spectators the chance to ride in some of the amazing machinery on show. The Vintage Village returns too, featuring a number of car clubs, authentic market traders and even a vintage beauty salon! The Vintage Village will play host to everything from Porsches to Morgan’s and the entertainment in the area never stops.

Passion For Power
On the 19th August, Oakmere Motor Group will be attending the Passion for Power event at Tatton Park in Knutsford. The event brings together an eclectic mix of over 2,000 classic cars, supercars and performance cars. The event has a collectors Car-Mart and over 200 autojumble, specialist and general trade stands.
Ed Milner, the event’s original organiser sadly passed away earlier this year, so we’d like to thank Ed for all of his hard work with the event over the years and offer our condolences to his family. Ed’s daughter, Michelle, has taken over her father’s responsibilities with the event so we’re delighted to inform you that the event will stay in the family’s hands.
We’ll be attending the show with examples from our whole group - meaning there’ll be cars from Toyota, Mazda, Caterham, Lotus and Morgan on show.
Run For The Hills
If classic cars are your thing, you won’t want to miss out on the Run for the Hills event at the Malvern Three Counties Showground in Worcestershire. Set to be the biggest Morgan event since the centenary in 2009, there’s a whole range of activities and attractions including music, food, traditional craftsmanship demonstrations, an historic Morgan display and Morgan official merchandise, amongst many others. The event takes place on the 26th and 27th of August.
Indulge yourself at the Gala Dinner, feast your eyes on the aerobatics and motorcycle stunt shows, enjoy Worcestershire’s finest musicians - the English Symphony Orchestra or let your breath be taken by the brilliant motorsport demos. Finally, remember to not leave early as spectators will be treated to a fireworks finale!
